Reiki can be offered as either a 30 minute chakra treatment or 60 minute full body treatment. Both treatments are on a 1:1 basis, in a relaxed environment. When coming for your treatment, please wear comfortable clothing. If you wish to bring soft soled slippers to put on you may, however you will have the option of being covered over by a fleece blanket. The room will be filled with essential oils, wax or incense sticks along with calming music. If you suffer with breathing difficulties or asthma, please inform me at the time of booking so that I do not burn the oils or incense during your session. You will be “smudged” upon arrival, which means you are cleansed of any negative energies within your aura before your treatment begins. You are asked to come with an open mind & accept anything that is offered to you during your treatment.
Meditation is a good way of grounding yourself & dealing with everyday struggles, stresses & anxiety. Many people use meditation to help when dealing with issues in their lives. However, learning to meditate isn’t always an easy task. In this group, which can either be held as a 45 minute 1:1 session or in a group no bigger than 8 people, you will learn the basics of how to meditate, the benefits of putting meditation into your daily ritual & using your surroundings to help ground you & calm you when life’s struggles become too much. If coming on a 1:1 basis, there is also the opportunity to book either a block of 5 or 10 sessions at a discounted price (see price list for details).
If you are attending a FULL DAY meditation session, please come in comfortable clothing, bring outdoor shoes/boots (depending on weather & season), a blanket & a cushion. No experience is needed to attend either groups, just an open mind & a positive approach.
